This smart, well designed dormer style ranch house is your perfect combination of being close enough to Dingle town and far enough away to truly enjoy the tranquility of the Dingle Peninsula. The property is set on verdant green farmland and the views from the rear will not disappoint even the weariest traveler. For those that love to soak up all the cafe/restaurant culture that Dingle town has to offer, it is only a 10-minute drive to the centre of Dingle. There are some nice easy walks on the doorstep and you are located on the gateway to the rest of the fabulous Slea Head area. Just to note this property is not walking distance from pubs/restaurants so hold onto that rental car. It is though within easy commuting distance for local taxi service.
Downstairs there is a hallway that leads to two of the three bedrooms. An ensuite twin bedroom with lovely green views to the rear gardens and Dingle harbour, a second twin bedroom with garden views but to the side of the house. All rooms are bright and cheerful with a calm feeling. Upstairs is accessed by the cutest artisan wrought iron staircase that leads to an open landing area that serves as a cosy study which in turn leads to the master double bedroom. Again this room is light and sunny with velux windows.
Downstairs there are two bathrooms both with WC, basin and free-standing shower units. Upstairs there is an ensuite off of the master that has a WC, basin and walk in shower with door.
The large open plan living area boasts a centerpiece spiral staircase to upstairs and three windows that frame the views across the bay to the mountains in the distance. There is a large patio door for easy access in/out to this very social space. The furnishings are very comfortable with a large L shaped luxurious sofa and separate chairs. The center of the room is dominated by a very sturdy artisan wrought iron table and six chairs. There is a small wood stove inserted into the chimney breast, a smart TV and stereo system to entertain all members of your family or group. The room has plenty of overhead and lamp light fittings to add to the atmosphere for those long chats over dinner. There is a cupboard and open bookcase with some interesting reading material and games for guests to enjoy.
This well put together house has a cosy kitchen corner area. There is a built-in easy access eye level oven, free standing microwave, electric hob, overhead air vent, dishwasher and fridge freezer in this area with adequate food preparation space to the right of the sink. The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils one would need. There is a separate utility area on the ground floor that has a washing machine, ironing board and storage area.
The dining area is in the centre of a large open rectangular living space that hosts the kitchen, dining and living areas. There is a very attractive artisan dining table and six chairs. For outdoor dining there is a picnic table with attached benches just outside the patio doors on a nice terrace area nestled between a mature tree and the views.
There is only one entrance/exit area via a woodland style gate. There is plenty parking for at least three cars in front of the property and space for kayaks/bikes to the side.
