Nestling in a private sheltered cove on the shores of Killary harbour, and having been recently renovated to a high standard, Leenane Cottage is the perfect hideaway for your main holiday or a short escape break. Set amidst the spectacular Delphi mountain wilderness, yet close to leisure, adventure, food and drink amenities, its location on the Wild Atlantic Way makes it an ideal touring base for your holiday in Connemara.

Recently renovated, the cottage is very spacious with a cosy, rustic charm.
It has 4 bedrooms: a master bedroom with a double bed, en suite and stunning view; a second double room which shares a bathroom with another bedroom which has a bunk-bed (ideal for children); and a twin room with a separate bathroom.
There is a large, fully-fitted, modern kitchen ideal for any cooking-enthusiasts. A dining room which is connected to the kitchen has the best view looking out onto the water. The living room has lovely, comfortable seating centred around a big open fire. There is a TV and old antique radio available for you to enjoy.
Outside the cottage, there is a picnic area and a BBQ for a nice summer evening. Cot and high-chair available on request.

There are a huge number of activities possible in our area:
go boating on the Killary Fjord, try the many nearby walking and cycling routes, spend time pier fishing or jumping! Or accompany us as we tend to the many animals and crops on our adjacent organic farm. A welcome pack of fresh produce and turf/firewood is standard and included in the price. A daily package of adventure activities including surfing can be arranged by the owners if requested in advance.

The owner is a family orientated, coffee loving gardner who likes to keep up with cookery trends. Her secret passion is interior design and we hope you will love what she has done with the cottage.....So let her show you a real Irish welcome in this stunningly beautiful part of Ireland. .
